In 2018, Copenhagen will be the Guest City at Beijing Design Week - the biggest design event in Asia and an internationally recognized event.

The theme is sustainable urbanization and will be an exceptional opportunity for Danish design companies and companies providing urban solutions to showcase their products, concepts and solutions to the Chinese market, including public decision-makers, businesspeople, investors and the fast growing middleclass.

Explore Danish Living

Confederation of Danish Industry, the Royal Danish Embassy and the City of Copenhagen invite Danish companies to join the exhibition “Explore Danish Living” - a part of Beijing Design Week.

The exhibition is a different approach to traditional export promotion. “Explore Danish Living” will take place in a refurbished gas tank, and will promote products and solutions in a new and interactive format via experimental labs, installations and workshops.

The gas tank is located in Design District 751 D-PARK, a former industrial zone, now a hotspot for design, innovation and creativity. 751 D-PARK is intertwined with the world famous 798 art district and next door to the Danish Cultural Centre.

The exhibition and the adjacent events will focus on five themes of liveability: Transport & Urban Space, Housing & Construction, Healthcare & the Elderly, Lifestyle and Play & Learning.
