We are moving towards a common European energy market with more and more companies seeing the EU as their home market. We do, however risk losing momentum, because while some countries are seeing growth in export of energy technology, the share of energy technology of total exports in the EU has decreased since 2007. We need to maintain and gain momentum if we are to realize the vast green market opportunities which lie ahead - in the EU and abroad.
In March 2013, the EU Commissions Green Paper entitled "A 2030 framework for climate and energy policy". DI Energy engages in this debate by asking how we can secure long-term clarity for the energy industry.
