Guidance for Danes Abroad
Danish companies increasingly working internationally, including in areas where the kidnapping may be a risk. Employees and employers must therefore be prepared for the meeting with different types of hazards.
If your business operates internationally and has employees and / or locally hired employees - this booklet will help to prevent crisis situations.
Confederation of Danish Industry with PET (Danish Security and Intelligence Service) has prepared this guide which gives practical instructions and advice on planning and conduct of work and residence abroad.
Areas where kidnapping is a real risk include Northern and Eastern Africa, Middle East and countries like Mexico, Colombia, India and the Philippines. Risk assessment for the kidnappings be replaced constantly and it is essential that business and its employees are kept up to date on risk areas.
