Global Benchmark Report 2011

The Global Benchmark Report 2011 is the seventh in a series of reports giving DI’s annual assessment of developments in the long term business environment and the performance of individual OECD member countries.

The report includes 86 international benchmarks and provides a picture of the strengths and weaknesses of the OECD countries in the global economy.

This year, the report also contains a chapter on the global battle for raw materials.

Access to and control of raw materials involves both challenges and opportunities for Europe and for European businesses. The analysis highlights the need for a strengthening of the trade policies now in order to ensure European access to critical raw materials both in the short and long term.
