Policy advocacy
DI is very active in policy advocacy - at local, national and international level. We are considered one of the most influential confederations in Denmark and we are a permanent member of committees that negotiate new regulation and national priorities.
Information services
Information is also one our key services. We provide information on how our members can handle specific OSH risks and how and where to seek financial support from external funds. Thereby, we provide a wide range of information. Naturally, we provide news about best practice and new initiatives in the field of OSH in general.
Network relations
DI established a large number of networks between members and with society at large. In the field of OSH, DI has organised a network for OSH managers. More than 300 industries are represented in this network, and it is a natural place for DI members to meet and share their experience in health and safety issues.
Other
DI is active in a wide range of OSH branch councils. Their main function is to provide guidelines with respect to OSH issues in each individual branch. The OSH branch councils comprise employers' and employee organisations in close coordination with relevant companies.
DI also offers a wide range of educational courses in occupational health and safety both aimed at employers and employees.
