When Denmark takes over the EU presidency, green energy will be on the agenda during the six first months of 2012. DI supports this focus since Danish companies have a lot to offer . Last week, businesses met with central political players to discuss the agenda.

Climate tax may increase exports to Australia
More than 50 Danish companies accompanied the Crown Prince and Crown Princess on their visit to Australia. Here a new CO2 tax may create opportunities for Danish enterprises with competencies in energy and environmental technology.
DI's Economic forecast
The first half of 2011 has featured moderate growth, driven almost entirely by growth in exports. This, however, ended very abruptly in the third quarter with disappointingly low figures for Danish exports and a massive reduction in the growth forecasts for the international economy.

Eurobonds cannot solve Europe’s dire straits

The European Commission is proposing to concentrate the debt of the entire eurozone and guarantee the debt with Eurobonds. But as long as there is no common financial policy to accompany the strategy, Eurobonds do not offer a relevant solution for debt-stricken countries, according to DI.
