Billion euro EU programme for research and innovation
A new framework programme with funds amounting to DKK 600 billion! With this proposal, the EU Commission is suggesting that a far greater tranche of the EU budget should be used for growth, and that is extremely positive, according to DI.

Danish export companies have more strongpoints than green technology. Nearly 40% of Danish exports are upmarket products that are sold at a higher price than corresponding products from other EU countries, according to a new DI study.

Eurobonds cannot solve Europe’s dire straits

The European Commission is proposing to concentrate the debt of the entire eurozone and guarantee the debt with Eurobonds. But as long as there is no common financial policy to accompany the strategy, Eurobonds do not offer a relevant solution for debt-stricken countries, according to DI.
